Chorizo picadillo is a typical Burgos product, derived from the slaughtering and raising from pork products. Although it can also be found in other regions of Castilla.
The well-made Picadillo de Villafuertes has minced meat, usually lean pork, seasoned and prepared to stew and stuff casings with it, but that is finally left uncured and is used in this appetizer. Incorporate the meat and bacon other ingredients, such as salt, paprika, pepper, garlic and oregano.
This traditional Burgos product does not contain colorants, preservatives or gluten.
Nowadays, there is also the possibility of obtaining boar picadillo, deer, and so on.
